Because I'm in a good mood, and I agree with you, I will show you how you should have wrote this.

I think George Bush wants to keep America at war with anyone because he needs a villain to look like a hero.
If a whole country is united againsta single man then it grows stronger. We have seen this in his War against Terrorism. America united against Osama and it grew in power. Now though, people have lost their common enemy to bond against, and they are turning to the problems Bush has at home. He needs them to be united against someone, anyone and preferably, he needs to be able to shove patriotism there somewhere.
However, what I believe is he needs to do something about peace, not war. All the other countries are angry with his Foreign Policy and he needs some international support.

I do agree that when a nation has a clear enemy, it can bring them together. A common enemy does wonders for uniting people and may not be such a "bad" tactic at all.
Is George W. Bush using this tactic? Well, many of the same people calling him stupid are now calling him smart by accusing him of this. Maybe he is, or maybe this is just a time of conflict when war is necessary and inevitable. History will sort it out.

While I don't do this often, I just wanted to leave this post to agree completely with BCC's post. In addition, thank you for pointing out that a single sentence doesn't cut it here. Just to reiterate, stafffighter, a single sentence doesn't cut it anywhere on this forum.
