Do you recognize this guitar riff from anywhere?
I just "wrote" it while messin' around but the more and more I listen to it the more I think that it sounds fimiliar.
Oh I know the solo is shit, that was just something I improvised to get a feel for recording with wah

I don't recognise it, and it sounds good.
If you do decide to use it, I would only suggest changing the way you use the wah pedal a bit, at the moment it sounds like you're missing some of the notes.

Also, no one owns a riff. There's a riff where I think AILD, or A7X had the same famous riff killswitch engage had in their song. Only it was in a different place in the song.

You mean the song Purple Haze? Because Deep Purple was a totaly different band to The Jimi Hendrix Experience. Also, it sounds nothing like Purple Haze- no Hendrix chord.
