8. The Allman Brothers (One of the better southern rock bands)

10. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers (Seriously, who doesn't like Free Fallin'?)

12. Iron Maiden (The Trooper. Enough said)

14. Deep Purple (No comment, which is probably a good thing)
15. Chicago (First great horn band)
16. Tower of Power (Chicago, but with the best horn line ever.)
17. Elton John (Love him or hate him, he could play the piano)
18. David Bowie (One of the better glam rock singers)
19. Stevie Ray Vaughn (Yes, he played blues, but it was one of the best to do it)
20. Queen (How could we forget Freddie Mercury?)
21. Neil Young (Still making great music)
22. Crosby, Stills, and Nash (Best harmonies ever)
23. Cat Stevens (Proved folk could still be a hit on record charts)
24. Grateful Dead (Jerry, oh Jerry, how much we miss you)
25. Blue Oyster Cult (See Boston)
26. Foreigner (The best arena group from the 70's)
27. R.E.M. (Even though half the time we can't tell what Michael Stipe is singing, it's still good stuff)

29. Joe Walsh (Good before he started toruing with the Eagles)
30. The Eagles (Even though their songs are overplayed they are good at country rock)

32. Santana (Oi, it's the king of Latino rock)
33. Derek and the Dominos (Yes, Clapton steals all his solos from Robert Johnson, but Layla is fucking awesome)
