Obviously you are not guitar-savvy. He probably used a "talk box" which is a little thing that goes in your mouth, and you play and move your mouth at the same time, and it makes cool noises. The guitarist from Bon Jovi uses one in the beginning of "Livin on a Prayer" and Slash from GNR uses one in a live performance.

Nope, not about electric guitar devices. I know the basics about guitars, but when it comes to the fancy devices the most I know is what a wah-wah pedal does.

It also said in Wikipedia that they "reunited in early 2007 with the announcement that they are undertaking a huge, international world tour dubbed The Police Reunion Tour from the middle of that year on until early 2008, in celebration of the 30th anniversary of their hit single "Roxanne" and also, to a lesser extent, that of their formation as a group." Here is another Wikipedia article about their reunion tour.

It is actually the 30th anniversary of the their first single "Fall Out." And I already have my tickets for the New Zealand leg of the tour on January 17th. And chances are after this is the last hurrah before The Police officially disband for good. They have actually only been on hiatus for the past 22 odd years.

Of course.
1. Black Sabbath (ehh they're metal but still classic)
I like them and I encourage classic metal talk here.
2. Led Zeppelin
In my opinion they were always a little over rated.
4. Van Halen
I want to see them on tour so badly.
6. Pink Floyd
A good Progressive band
7. Rush
One of my favorites.
Any ways I've had The Who's song Baba 'O Riley stuck in my head all day.

You know Van Halen is coming to play in Vancouver? December 5th at GM place. I'm hoping to get tickets.
KISS is playing in Whistler ( a couple of hours away from Vancouver). I heard on Rock 10.1 that apparently the stadium where KISS is playing is packed- 25,000 people! Do you think any riots will break out?
My post count is low because I have a life. My favourite Queen song.

I don't think so. KISS fans are normally a little more sedate than the music, and it is very rare for riots to break out at concerts nowdays.
And 26 days till I see Steely Dan. and 5 months and 19 days till I see The Police.

It seems strange, considering my a like most of the rock from that period, but I can't help but feel like Kiss are a "dad's" rock band - like Statis Quo.

Oh god! I love most classic rock, but the Eagles bore me completely. I might just buy it to save money on sleeping tablets for my insomnia.

How do you find The Eagles boring? I love the way the made westen style classic rock. I'm probably going to get my dad tickets for there concert for his birthday because he is a HUGE Eagles fan.

Well to me they are just nothingish. And the Allman Brothers have far better western style classic rock before The Eagles.

I really don't know what nothingish means.

I'm not going to argue with you there. The Allman Brothers Band is much better than The Eagles.
Any ways I've had this song stuck in my head all day.

There is nothing to them, they have no real defining features to their music. It just all sounds remotely the same. And Don Henley's vocals annoy the shit out of me.

I have heard the single for it, it is really worth getting if the rest of the album is as good as that one track, and from what I have heard from the only DJ whose view counts, it is good.

I don't like him. We heard a song of his in my history class. It was a cover of a song from 1905.

"Radio Nowhere." It is a lot more guitar driven than most of his other work.

I have heard similar things about it, I suppose I like it because it is simply a rockin' guitar track which isn't always typical of Bruce, and the first E-Street band thing in a while.

I saw Steely Dan 2 weeks ago and I am seeing The Police in january. I could have gone to Motorhead in a few nights time, but that would have ment travelling across the country and missing out on school a few weeks before exams begin.
