One of the most kick-ass songs I've ever seen. It's the Bohemian Rhapsody cover at the Freddy Mercury tribute concert. It starts out with Elton John singing the slow stuff, then once it gets heavier Axl comes out, all with queen playing the instrumental parts. I'd also recommend watching the Freddy Mercury tribute concert, I remember finding the whole thing on youtube. After Freddy died, all the greatest bands came together and played all of queen's greatest songs. It's incredible.

I really don't see why somebody's sexuality automatically makes them horrible at singing. Freddy Mercury was incredibly gay, and you just said that the song is nice. Hmmm.....

My dad used to rock out to Elton John, his sister once threw a coke bottle at him once for blasting the Saturday Night song and it left a huge gash on his face.

Then they all got beat with a wiffleball bat :(

My dad always hated Elton John. So did I. I never saw any appeal in his music. Would you even call his music classic rock?

I don't really care for it, but the Saturday song is okay. If you define Classic Rock by the time it's been around then yes I think it is Classic Rock.

How would you define the Classic part?

Recently, I found a version of a cover of Stairway to Heaven by Pink Floyd. At first, I thought it was a mistake, but after I listened to it, I was really impressed by how it turned out. It sounds almost like a completely different song (best part starts at roughly 4:00 BTW)

http://mp3upload.ca/files/7419/led_zeppe lin__pink_floyd__stairway_to_heaven

Also, it took forever to find the right uploader. Everything had a 5 MB limit. This song is 7.5 MB.

Oh, and I almost forgot. At the very end, (I think that it's) Robert Plant singing the final verse. It's a really cool cover, but don't just listen to 30 seconds of it, and give a thumbs down. Listen to the whole thing. It really sounds different from the original song.

That's awesome, it matches the song perfectly. That is a perfect party/Saturday song btw. I love to blast it on weekends. It's probably my favorite song Sir Elton John does, but I enjoy much of his work, like Bennie and the Jets, Rocketman, Harmony, and Follow The Yellow Brick Road.

I haven't heard anything by him in a long time. I know if I play that Saturday song my dad's gonna tell me the above story again haha. I might look into him and Meat Loaf too.

I love Knocking On Your Back Door. Besides SOTW I love a lot of their songs and blast them whenever I'm driving around.

I totally agree. Most fans of that song are 11 year olds playing guitar hero

My favorite songs by DP would have to be My Woman From Tokyo, Space Truckin, Speed King, Hush, etc. etc.

Isn't it weird that at the start of the next decade (2010-2019) artists from the 90s will be considered Classic Rock :/
