Great your the first member. I also like Boston some but to me a lot of their stuff sounds the same. For example Long Time and More Than A Felling sound way to similar.

Yeah a lot othere stuff had similer guitar riffs and always sounded clean. Ever the perfectionist Tom schultz was.

It always suprised me that Tom Scholz didn't work more on makeing Bostons music sound diffrent with Tom Scholz being like that.

I'm guessing he just found the perfect sound for the band so he decided to stick with that sound. Nothing wrong with that considering thats what made them such a huge success in the late 70's.

I love all kinds of music, but am a big fan of classic rock. From Hendrix to Deep Purple, to Thin Lizzy, and much much more. :)
I think a lot of today's music has turned to crap.

I've recently been listening to Steely Dan a lot but am really looking forward to seeing "Hippy Fest" at the outdoor theater near me next month.
However, my favorite classic rock artists include George Harrison, The Who, Yes, Rush, and...well...Jeez...I can't name all of them. :-D

I made this thread about Rush yesterday. The Exit...Stage Left album is brilliant.
I generally like progressive rock (Emerson, Lake and Palmer, Genesis, King Crimson) and arena rock (REO Speedwagon, Boston).
I should really Boston sometime. I only have their best of.
