About my comment on not being greedy,
I'm probably just quite sore over how greedy some guys can be. I have seen people getting hundreds of dollars for things which wont make the sponsor a return for years, the main reason why I guess this annoys me is because big boys like AG and even max games can afford to pay lots for something which perhaps isnt worth it for years, whereas small companies trying to start out and make an honest buck (IE: My site) can be completely stripped of cash because flash authors wont accept anything less then a thousand dollars for something that has taken the only 40 hours-ish to make.

But I guess if you CAN make lots out of a sponsor, you should definatly try to :D

I find it possible that I too will start some site and sponsor games in the future and have thought a bit on the difficulties it would mean to get started, so I definitely see your point :/

Since I'm not a coder, I'd really like to see some reviews for Jacksmack and Flash-Portal. If anyone has any past experience AT ALL with those two, I would greatly appreciate a post.

Actually, the US has one of the most stable economys in the world, which is why so many 3rd world countrys use it for currency.

Yeah, due to the dollar sucking ass at value nowadays $1000 is like %u20AC700

also I got a smaller game going on and after its done and gets sponsored I'll consider posting reviews of all the sponsors I worked with thus far.

I know i've posted this, but i'd recommend FlashRage.Com They've sponsored me at least 5 times now, each time i've got a fair amount for my games. For instance, mine (and j1mps) newest game, which only took 4 days to make, got $200. Not bad for such a small project.

Anyway, Ryan is a very stand up guy, and i'd recommend him.

2D Play is run by a London based company, I'm not sure if they do sponsorships but I think they might... would be worth a shot definitely!

I haven't actually been sponsored yet but I have entered a lot of armor games comps and I must say I think they are great- payment on time and great communication. One particular competition I got in late and they felt sorry for me so they gave me $75!!! and if I had got in on time I wouldn't have been eligible for a prize anyway....so you can't beat that!

They payed pretty well, although considering they get more traffic than newgrounds, and theyre site is full of ads, they probably coulda given slightly more :P
Anyways, they payed right away, but be warned, they need your fla to add their log, online highscore etc, for a few days. They will still credit you and evrything, its just a little different then I was used to. However, getting sponsored by them pretty much gaurentees more than 200,000 views on their site (the game with the least ammount of views on their site had 189,000, and the most was 27,000,000) so thats always a plus.

This depends on the sponsor, most of them don't allow it I believe but it you can always ask them ;)

I've been with many sponsors before, and looked around the bigger brands for sponsorship with this game. Mofunzone offered the highest price with the same terms as anyone else, in one case the offer I was presented exceeded 5 times another sponsors' offer. Sponsorship was exclusive like it is with ArmorGames and CrazyMonkey, I kept my credits and the rights to the game e.t.c. He's also pretty much always available to talk to, and I got my money at the same time the game hit Newgrounds.

This is what makes Mofunzone stand out. Probably one of the most efficent sponsors I have ever dealt with, as previously said almost always on chat applications to talk to if needed. Money was delivered quickly, no messing about...so yeah, full marks here too!

Social +++++
Definitley the most social sponsor I've dealt with. CrazyMonkey comes very close, but Mo is almost always up for a chat, whether it's about flash related business or just anything cool to talk about. Most sponsors try and keep a professional image, but then you don't get to 'know' the person. All 5's here too

So overall, if you have a game you want to sponsor definitley check out Mofunzone - it's gonna be worth your time. I was so happy with my last game being sponsored by him that I'm having Rocket Car 2 sponsored by him aswell.

FlashNinjaclan.com sponsored on of my games. They are pretty good, but because they are a small website, they payed a smaller amount than other companies.
