Is it just me, or did everyone use the examples Wiggis in their games. Shiek-Sprite used the example wiggis in both of his, even if one was re-colored. I mean, there have been a lot of use of those.

I'm not saying it's a bad thing but I know some of you out there can make some original wiggi's. CREATIVITY PEOPLE!

I'm hoping the fact that I drew my own Wiggi will bring in some bonus points :P...

Yeah, my game's gonna have 100% self-drawn artwork (maybe 98% if you count the preloader XD)
What did kinda concern me about Sheik-sprite's entry is the music chosen, ie. Sonic remixes. Dunno if it really seems proper for kiddy-aimed games or something. I've stuck with original compositions anyhoo (and some pretty good ones at that).
Pretty much got all the code work done, so now I just gotta tweak some bits and do some filler animation and it should hopefully be done before the deadline.
Oh, and this one's gonna have a bit of challenge to it, so it'll appeal to the mainstream as well as the kids it's aimed for.

Bacteria Bash is 100% drawn by me, too; my final submission will be in tonight, once I fix up a few small bugs. Looking forward to seeing everybody's finished submissions!

If I get the opportunity I'll change some of the music in the game. I really needed to get the game out today though, because today was the only day I was able to use high speed internet.

Yeah, if you don't change it, we'll probably have to swap it out ourselves and you'll lose some brownie points :(

Good to hear, I would love to play some creative entries for this. There have been some good concepts, I just don't see much Creativity. I am also putting in 100% my own artwork for the game. I hope it does well, I have a friend who is cooking up a few more music pieces for me, so I also have original music.

And SKiek Sprite. Sorry bout spelling your name wrong.

I also figured I'd give everyone a little screenshot.

So that's why I keep finding these 'Wiggi' submissions!

Hey- can we use _root for the right click menu? Also, how should I send you the game? I'm not sure how to attach a large file to an email, and putstuff.com is under maintenence.

As for the deadline, you have ALL DAY tomorrow to submit, so don't kill yourselves. I'm on the west side of the U.S. so let's say 12:00 midnight Pacific Time (which is 3:00 AM EST in case you were wondering)

The game looks very nice Wonchop. It's gotta be the biggest competition so far.

I'd like to add that all I've said in the thread is just light-hearted banter an I don't mean any of it seriously :p

I was frankly impressed. It's a very complete game with a stellar concept. It doesn't have the graphical polish that some others have, but it's really well done and bonus for educational material presented in a fun way. The bubble effects are a nice touch too.

crap my game is gone with the wind now. oh and i dont know if you had it on your list "wiggi fire rescue" you might have put it as fire emergency or something since there turned out to be so many fire games. well anyway drats!! and good job to all the recent participants expecially dance dance wiggi, thats some snazy stuff surprised it didnt get frontpage or did it?
