Well, dude, I tried out dudley all afternoon, I couldn't figure out anything...I'm not playing with him again. Although, Instead of cvs2 ryu in my gang, i'm replacing him with patchouli and patchouli is my vice-president
You need to learn lots about him haha.
First of all, he's got about 3 supers
[Body blows combo ending in standing uppercut] [Super hadoken move]
[Triple uppercut, almost like shoryuken, but unblockable after first hit connects, finishing with spinning fists] [Shinryuken move]
[Corkscrew blow, twirling his arm madly into a 10 hit combo] [Quartercircle back PP]
The difference between body blow and corkscrew is that cork is very hard to try to parry, but the body blows will get to you and you can try and input more body blows by hitting the buttons in sync.
The triple uppercut shouldn't get blocked, or you're in for trouble, but the A.I. can get stupid and get hit by the second rocket uppercut.
Now, you know how like in Vampire, your normal moves can be powered into a "semi-super", very useful when you're pummeling someone, but don't quite want to use a whole bar.
His rocket uppercuts are like shoryukens, but are perfect for after parrying a move or anti-air [Even better when you special after a parry] The surprise can protect you from beast players like Juggernaut. EX uppercut has higher punch and combos, angles along with the opponent as well.
Machine Gun Blow: half circle forward P. A VERY USEFUL MOVE, especially when EX'ed since it's the perfect launcher to his hidden juggle capabilities. Masters can kill you just by doing this before, then launching you 5 times with his sweep [Down HK], then letting you dizzy as they finish the job. Go to youtube to see the massacres. Oh, and he'll rush forward, giving a flurry of one arm punches, then launches you with a standard uppercut.
Dashing Straight or Uppercut(hcf,k; P or K) This is perfect when the other one is turtling the match, it's a sneak surprise also when it looks like you're defending, the perfect move to follow into offensive maneuvers. He'll dash real fast forward and knock a straight or uppercut, depending on which button to press in the end.
Bob-and-Weave (hcb,k) This is what makes Dudley a good boxer. It's perfect when the other player tries jumping in or going on offense, showing who's playing the game. He dashes behind and back in good speed, if you EX it, hits him 3 times.
Crosscounter (hcb,p) A perfect counter and mock, Dudley makes himself look like he can't take another blow, dragging his arms to the floor, but when you hit him, he'll double damage into you, even more if he EXed it and is placed behind you after. Don't use this against projectiles or specials though.
For his grab, you hit LK and LP and he'll do a standard toss left and right, depending where you aim it.
He's got a useless overhead strike that's only good if your opponent is crouching, MK and MP
And, the insult of all, the thrown rose as he calls you gutter trash can be used. A perfect insult when the other player is charging a special, gets hit by the rose and stops everything. It does minimal damage, but stops anything he'll try at you. HP and HK simultaneously. Depending on how you press it though, he might cancel it though, so don't get too cocky.
I challenge you to try and use him against other Capcom characters from other series. It's hard, but you can master him ;) He was originally intended for against SF3 characters you know..
