me and my friends used to race each other in this game but on a different site during my graphic arts class at school. i got it down to 4.19 seconds with no mistakes, but my friend flew through it in 3.02 seconds. now typing the alphabet backwards was a bitch, i could only get it down to about 10 seconds with mistakes

My best time was 5.94 seconds.

I suck at typing in any structured pattern, and this is starting to piss me off.

5.11 seconds is my best, it's usually pretty easy if you slam down on the keyboard.

You know, this would be a lot easier if the keys on the default keyboard were placed in a way that made any sense at all. I mean, If they're not going to go alphabetically in order, they could at least have the vowels in a separate row or something. Stupid them.

Meh. I did this in about six tries or so. I would have included the high score of 4.7 but I made an error in that one, so I didn't count it.
But I beat your high score first try :)

Gah! I kept mistyping and then hitting backspace to correct it, just out of habit lol.
These are all the high scores I had as I got faster.
I spent like 20 minutes on this. Once I got to 4.44 I kept getting like .10 seconds slower than that. I had a hard time on the everything after that as well.

It's easier to move your fingers on instinct to press 26 keys than it is to think out what is essentially a 27-syllable word in your head.

HA! I beat my time of 3.41

TWICE after this I FELT like I did it faster but when I looked up to see my time it was still going because I looked up before I hit the Z and so I completely missed that key.

Very true, I can't say it in my head in 3.41 seconds. Can you say it in your head in 6.48? I can type most things faster than I can say them. Try it out, you probably can too. :-P
