of your clothes? It was free comic book day and I was looking through the stacks when this guy looked at me and said "hey a member from my chemical romance just made a comic would you like it?" what a dick. Just because I have converse, dyed hair, and a dead bunny on my shirt (from a comic) does not mean I like "my chemical romance" or that want to read a comic made by them! seriously i ended getting something totally different and he was suprised that i got fucking Archie! just because all those asshole Mychem fans decide to wear converse and look alike shouldn't mean that i can't! I'm never going back there that guy wouldn't even let my friends little sister get the action comic he kept directing her to fucking scooby doo.

If you don't want judged by what you wear I suggest you either go nude or be a little less of a pussy about being judged.

I agree. The guy was just trying to be helpful. So what if he used stereotypes? They're more likely to work than just offering random comics to anyone.

Why didn't you just tell him that you did not want the comic? Must have been hard.
Oh yeah, you should have gotten the comic for your sister, instead of moaning and bitching and complaining.

Okay. I think you have a fixation in the phallic psychosexual stage - judging by your attitude. That, or you get bullied and picked on by your peers, and in order to escape that here, you're trying to create a new persona.
And I'd say that the 'hard-ass' approach you seem to be showing is just sublimation for your sexual repression.
Are you happy now?

People are always going to judge you buy the way you dress, this is
a fact of life everyone has to come to terms with at one point or another.
All you can do it have fun and suprise people by contradicting thier assumptions.
I undestand this issue completely. I've had people run away from me beacuse of the
way I dress sometimes. I'm a nice guy, really..

I don't think people really get how fucking annoying it is to not be able to wear black more than three times a week without some assholes coming up to you and asking if you're a goth. It's not only rude but it's stupid. If i see a girl wearing a miniskirt I don't go "hey are you a hooker?" wtf.

It's a common occurance. Just like being a guy with long hair warrants "Get a haircut!"
I get stereotyped as a goth by ignorant people without ever even wearing anything black/gothic. Just get used to it and accept that some people are stupid.

No, because most of my time I spend in school, where I have to weara uniform. So everybody's wearing mostly the same. That's a great advantage of a uniform.

Well boo-hoo.
You know, a female friend of mine has pink hair. It's really nice, and I think it's beautifull (why am I not dating her?...). But everywhere we go, she gets people staring at her, gazing and some even insulting. She couldn't care less, but honestly, why is this? I don't get it.
Indeed, don't base people on their labels. Most of the time, we're all just wimps.
I first talk to people before I call them a trifflin' ho. I myself don't have a label, strange as it may seem, I don't have anything specific, I am completly label less, not alternative, not punk, not skater, not jump, not nerd, nothing.
My clothes are completly contraversy actually. I got restyled once and now Ihave techno outfits and punk stuff. So I'm everything and nothing at the same time. Sweet.
But I still prefer the good ol' metal music.

This very sentence is indeed very true.
Goths get scolded very easly, but sluts don't. The strange facts of the teenage life.

I wear black all the time, people don't call me a Goth. It's your attitude with the black, your makeup if any. That kind of thing. I wear black because I look very good in black, I don't wear it to make some 'group' statement.
It's probably an age thing, you hang out with people who judge you on the way you look in the form of social groups. I hang out with people where we are judged just as women... Sexy or not. You are a bit too young for that I guess.

Goths are a rare breed, never seen outside of Cure concerts or the occasional Bauhaus reformation tour.

I wear so many different styles of clothing that I guess I just confuse people all around now. The only time I've been judged by my clothes was in middle school. Use to be all into that whole ghetto line of clothing. Shady Limited, Sean John, Ecko, etc. Got called a wigger because of that...which is probably true because I acted like one too. The people I hang around now don't judge me based on that. So either it just takes growing up or just naturally ignoring stupid comments like that from people you don't know.

Yes, yes I do. To be honest, I've stopped caring about it. I just wear the clothes in which I feel the most comfortable. If someone doesn't like it, then they can just look the other way.
I don't care what other people wear, and they shouldn't care about what I'm wearing.
My name is pepeatumi... But you already knew that!

Oh yes I do. People think that I'm either a murderer or I worship Satan and I do not do those things. People are actually sometimes scared when they see me.
