okay. so this is Colossus with the next scene attached. I'm having this scene end with the pipes falling into the scene instead of out (like scene 2).... p.s. SCENE SCENE SCENE ... yes lack of a better term, i know.

p.p.s as there is still 20 days till submissions have to be in (mainly because I have to finish Colossus, Intro and Menu and Credits).... for those hoping to get co-author, it would be ideal to take the opportunity and put some more work into the pieces.

so i'm on the home stretch for my Colossus part, just to let you guys know in my triple posting sort of way

Sorry about this but my computers been broken for a while now and I've only just been able to get on, luckily I was able to backup most stuff (including my part) before my computer went into complete meltdown. I should be able to finish it within the next few days if thats ok.

and here is where i'm at with the intro to the collab. the kid will open the package revealing a stack of comics... which in turn will be the menu system. neato eh!

remember. 10 days till we have to get this done.

okay. so since i had the day off today. i completed the preloader and intro.

the intro will then kick into the menu system.... which will have the background of inside Howie's box of comics

any questions or concerns, post them soon as i'm working on the menu system next. for extra sections... does anyone have a preview of something your working on... that we can advertise. right now the master .swf file is 2.4 megs.. so we are doing great on space. that'll allow me to code a scene selection that only plays that scene... so i was thinking making that page a comc stand that you can select the authors comics. do we want to setup something you want to write? or a link to your favorite personal portal submission.

I like the comic book stand idea!
You click on the comic on the stand and it opens with the author's name, age, years with flash, link to website, maybe favorite superhero/villain on the left and maybe an image or short comic on the right.
Just throwing ideas out...

Okay, so for the Comic Book stand section (the extras section), please create a comic cover of yourself. For anyone that doesn't submit one by friday Sept 28th, British Moose and myself will create one for you :D

dimensions don't matter as i will resize it accordingly.

just keep the ratio of the length and width around comic book standard. or even use your existing comic of hawkwoman and redraw one specific to yourself.

So i'm working on the superman part now. audio is done for it. i'm almost done of the comic. then i'll arrange the clip with the audio in it... and that is it

Chubb's Superman piece is done. I'm waiting on his approval of the final "design".

now i'm onto the menu and the "extra" section

so this is my personal comic cover to go into the Extra section. i'm being very ambitious with the extra section. tonight i'll find out how much i can code what i picture.

i gotta say, it blows having to draw myself while looking in the mirror at the same time.
