I just wanted to update on mine, I can't work on it anymore,
my computers like dieing, lagging up when I do small procedures
like open notepad. I can't even see my taskbar anymore...
I scanned for viruses a while ago, and had like two trojan, but
deleting them hasn't made my computer any faster.
So...sorry, it was looking great, but I can't even open flash up anymore.

and Chris, I must tell you, when i lived in ireland, i sure did love the french women there. seemed the majority of the chicks i dated in ireland were from france, learning english.

well thats unfortunate your computer is sucking assholes. try the free online scan at "trendmicro.com" that sites pretty good i find. if you do get shit sorted, just keep in mind the submission date has been pushed to september due to my 2 weeks vacation and apprenticeship exam at the end of august.

what i'll do is get the .fla off you when i get back from my vacation. i leave in a couple of days and its been hectic packing since my brothers are moving out soon as well.

is it possible since there's no rush to clean the animation up a bit for once i return mid august?

I'll try, I might as well. I'll be honest with you though, I've never edited a already complete flash before. But suppose improving the quality of the movie clips could be easily done. :D

hey thats awesome chris. when i usually do something like that. i pick one thing at a time.... effects, backgrounds, animation. i find if i divide it up into sections like that... its easier to tackle

Yeah. I'll get working on it right now and see if there's parts which can be fixed easily. I'd like to do the backgrounds but I think that would be a bit hard cause they were bitmaps. Give me a dead line.

Sorry it took so long, my labtop was going really slow, and when ever i tried to open flash it would shut down from overheating, and my brother overflooded the toilet (lol) so like 3 rooms downstairs got the carper messed up so we have to move everything out of the way. Once we got the computer and stuff plugged in i emailed myself the fla. for my superman flash and some other ones ... so now I finished it (hopefully)...

Hm, well your missing the comic cover which is supposed to spin onto the screen. And your model needs to be designed with a thin pen and lots of detail so when you zoom in it doesn't look bad. You also need to add background elements and basically make it more colorful. Pretty much everything needs to be improved.

I'll give you one thing, I love the idea and I did chuckle. All of these things I said can be EASILY done if you make your animation in layers. Edit the symbols, and add a couple of layers for the background and such. Maybe even change the text font and such.

And it just dawned on me that your part really doesn't make sense. The collab is about super heroes and villains who find their special powers are working against them in perticular enviorments. Your animation was more like he just got hit with kryptonite. A better idea would be maybe Super Man getting a tour of kryptonite cave or something like that.

I don't want to seem like the collab creator so I'll stop the criticism, good luck!

Chubb, I've liked the idea of superman going retarded from the kryptonite from the beginning.... even though Chris is "technically" right, your idea Chubb still fights the general theme of the collab. :) Though I was wondering if you didn't mind so much, we are looking at a September submission, so would it be possible to clean things up. If not, i'd love permission to work on your brain close up :)
