Yes, but if it gets to the point where you two are conversing on different styles rather than the actual artist practising whatever 'style' he has adopted into the form that he make himself, then it is not a showcase.. rather much like my art thread.

I don't have a ton of repliers, but it's a place I can show off my work. :3

Great job, I just have one question, what is the background supposed to be? It looks like a jail cell of some kind. But that wouldn't make sense, as the blood is on the black parts.

The background is actually supposed to be abstract nothingness...with blood.

Okay, I get the abstract nothingness. (I'm sorry if I sound rude there)

I tend to focus on backgrounds to add depth to the picture and to fgure out where the subject of the drawing/painting/art is. It's just my ways.

Also BlackmarketKraig has kind of summed up exactly what I was talking about. We're not asking you to change your style completely just make modifications to it to suit your personality, which is what makes drawing so fun! You can express anything you want! Anyway I'm spamming up your thread so I'll shut up now.

Yep, I just got a scanner, but t didn't come with the USB connector. Angreh! I'll have to get it tomorrow. Also, I'm getting a tablet soon. SO, I'll be having a bunch more styles at my disposal. In other news, a small family of purple blobs has been spotted in the area.

Again, great eyes. Also, the shading is great.

That's the thing. It's a real flavor! I bought them yesterday, had a couple, orgasmed, and expressed my love through that picture. Go get some now!

This one has a less cartoony feel.
