Ron Paul is the embodiment of every value and ideal America strived for back in 1776 but failed miserably to achieve. I will be a Ron Paul supporter for the rest of my life, because he has given me something that is so hard to come by in this country of ever-expanding government power and regulation that goes unchecked as it meddles in private affairs with excessive taxation, entangling wars, and an unbridled entitlement system. He has given me hope for tomorrow through a vision of America that is finally free, an image that would make even our founding fathers proud.

Why? Because he dares to differ from the Republican base?
I think he's a swell guy, I don't agree with some of his positions but at least he's honest and fundamental in his principles, rather than purely political in his principles.
Yay, Obama won. Let's thank his supporters:
-The compliant mainstream media for their pro-Obama propaganda.
-Black Panthers for their intimidation of voters.

I agree wholeheartedly with you, and it feels good to say that.
And before anyone says that he is a 9/11 conspirator, that's just not true. He is skeptical about the government's doings, that's all, he doesn't say "OMG CONSPIRACY", he says, "Hmmm, let's make sure we are getting all the information rather than biting into what the government spoon feeds us like sheep".
So perhaps you (Tal-con) are in fact the fucking lunatic, or at least the fucking mindless patsy.

Not to mention the fact he went on the radio show of 9/11 kook Alex Jones.
Just because he goes on someone's show doesn't mean he's insane. Liberals go on Rush Limbaugh sometimes, conservatives go on Jon Stewart's show sometimes. And that video contains not a single source of him saying that there was government involvement in 9/11, it just says that we may not be receiving all the information.

Maybe I haven't done enough research about him, but it seems to me that he's more of a man of ideas than of plans. He's said that he wants to get rid of the IRS, but what would he want to replace it with?
He's still the closest thing to Mike Gravel on the Republican side, and he has more of a shot.

To uncompromising and to upfront to be a President.
I'm sure he's a great man, but he'd never survive the Presidency.
Not that he has any chance of actually getting to it, though.

If there's anyone more consistent than Ron Paul, I'd like to meet him/her. Also, he's a huge libertarian. He believes in absolute "liberty" in its entirety, unless it impedes on others' rights.

Um... Ron Paul is probably the most consistent candidate running for President right now. All his stances are based entirely on the constitution and on a very core set of political beliefs.
He has no desire to pander to a voting bloc, or change his stance based on political expediency. This may mean he loses out on voters because he's not as smart (dishonest) in what positions he takes, but nobody can claim that Ron Paul isn't consistent.
The fact that you suggest he isn't consistent means you should probably do some reading.

That's like saying "Pot. Kettle. Black." when you condemn Hitler. Completely out of context, because there are no similarities between the two.
You're right. I am glad you now understand how retarded it was to call Ron Paul a lunatic.
