If you are using samples of any kind
Make absolutely certain that you have the right to legally use them in commercial works.

This may be an issue later on in the contest - Any submission that smells of uncleared samples will be flushed away and the person who submitted the track will be disqualified from this MAC and possibly from future MACs as well.

Remember - Your submissions are for consideration by The Behemoth for potential use in a commercial release. You MUST have a proper license for any samples that are used.

CHECK YOUR EULAs !!! Not all of them are equal - You are required to have legally purchased samples and you must also have been granted a royalty free for commercial use license agreement.

If you have downloaded any samples that from any third party site (not from the original author) then delete them before you even start on your submission(s) so that there is no question of potential rights infringement.

Keep in mind that your submissions must also be created in-full on legally licensed software.

If you didn't pay for it, then you cannot legally use it.

If you're not 100% certain, then don't. We will all err on the side of caution on these issues.

Epic Orchestra 2

This was originally commissioned by reFX . They wanted a song to demonstrate the classical music capabilities of their Nexus plugin. It's a remix of "Epic Orchestra ", my first classical piece. I'm not sure if it's suited for battle scenes, but it might be nice for those softer moments...if they exist. lol

By the way, I had to seriously degrade the quality in order to get it under the 4 MB limit. You can find a 192 kbs version right here.
I renamed it to "Genesis", by the way. Could a nice administrator change the Newgrounds title accordingly? :-)

This is not true. But lets be honest. WinterWind and DavidOrr, are borderline professionals. And i'm not going to try and hide that. Why should I? It's what keeps my brain burning to find the magical melody that will defeat everybody >:}

Creating a catchy melody wouldnt be the biggest problem for me..
But making 'Something' would be the biggest problem =/

nooonono... I allready tried to make many other styles... including Classical with some of the
best VST's from my bro etc.. Even when I create a very cheesy 808 drumline it sounds crap >_<
Sometimes a single note can already hurt me.
I dunnow, I think i'll just have to lock myself up in a room with a lot of instruments and
master every instrument before I leave the room.
Tried alot of collabs, also in real life.. But just doesnt work...

What about demos of programs?

And if a song does make it from newgrounds then does the artist get paid? Seeing as it will be on a game released for commercial sales, rather than the content submitted on NG, which is not commercially sold.

Anyways, I'm working on a killer track at the moment, and it's epic!
