If you look back at my previous posts you will notice that I make it very clear that the other "March to Dublin" is not even my own work...it's just a song from Newgrounds that I uploaded to see if my other files had the right format. ===March to Dublin===was submitted about 2 months ago so can it still be in?

Lol. That's not too far from the truth. Unfortunately I don't have a lot a money to spend on quality recording equipment so I have to make do with what I have.

The reason that I uploaded that song was because I was having trouble uploading my file and I wanted to see if the audio portal was broken or something. Please forgive this action as I had no intention of stealing someone else's work. If its possible, please remove "The March To Dublin" from my profile. Thanks.

anyway, you were very wrong by submitting someone elses work, althogh you clearly intended to check that you could submit to the portal.

question; why was the description of your "stolen" march to dublin song "cc contest entry" when you very well knew it was not your own doing?

anyway, this is what you do; Send pm a PM, explain why you uploaded a song that did not belong to you, then you pray that he do not delete your other songs and have you banned from submitting audio alltogether.

as for your entries in the contest, they will have to be checked through and discussed by the MAC crew and the judges, this all due to you submitting audio that you had no right to.

Trust me dude, with the exception of "The Harvest of Death" all the other songs are written by my own hand. My only sin in this entire ordeal is not being tech savy enough to know how to format my songs to be Newgrounds friendly. When it comes to technology...well...I just suck. You should have seen me when I tried to figure out how to record audio on audacity. I spent 2 hours wondering why I couldn't hear anything on my recordings. Until I turned the mute button off that is lol. I figured the best way (apart from asking other people which I did) would be to download a file, analyse its format, and tried to copy it. As for how I ended up naming "The Harvest of Death" as another title and as a cc contest entry, that was a slight boo-boo on my part. Before I tried to uploaded that particular file, I had been trying (for the past two days) to upload the real "March to Dublin" to the audio portal. Every time it would fail I would have to retype the information...over...and over....and over again. So I kinda sorta forgot not to type in the information and uploaded "The Harvest of Death". I really do wish that wouldn't have happened. I'm just a tech clutz who screwed up and is really, really, really, sorry this happened. I would NEVER jack anyone's work and claim it as my own! (Prostrates body on floor and hopes for the best) What can I do to redeem myself?

Hmmm.... dilemma, dilemma...

Well, I guess we've all got some explainimg to do... I suppose I should contact all of the judges and ask... no... demand that they justufy their salaries... After all, we've only got 150some-odd submissions that all need to be fairly judged through several rounds ranging from the first-pass to weed out crap to the finals where a winner will be chosen...

Obviously they are all a bunch of no good slackers... it's been almost 4 days and they aren't done yet...

Oh wait-a-sec-there-sport, I remember what happened now...

There are no salaries, no compensation, no remuneration, no prizes and very few "thank you"'s for the people who willingly give up a nice chunk of their personal time to do things like prepare lists of entries and judge and coordinate and plan... You know, all of those things that are necessary in order to make this whole thing work.

And for some unknown reason, my mind keeps wandering back to a page that says "Still hasn't contributed anything to the site"
