I've got a question..
The song I'm gonna upload has a full song structure (with intro and epic conclusion)

this is my question: should we upload the "final perfectly looped" track or is a "full song structure" track enough? because i know that console games can loop tracks not necessarily at the beginning/end of an audio file like flash games for example does.

Personally I belive that submitting a Full Song Demo would be better than sending a litle loop..then the Behemoth guys can request an edited version..true?

To begin with, make sure the song aint longer than 2 minutes. Second, I'd submit the loopable 1min-2min song, since that's what they're after in the end. Just make sure you hav ethe high qual version available :)
but you do what you think is the best, re-read all the info again and make a decision :)

two months is great! im glad its longer.

The song submited to the contest can be no longer than 2 min, preferably 1-2 min and loopable.

I do not know if this is possible, I will try to find out. However, keep the song maximum 2 min anyway. If it IS possible, it's not hard to slap on a ten second intro or whatever. So make the contest entry as good as possible for the "looping part", wich very well could be the full two minutes...

But yeah, I'm not saying this or that is right or wrong, this is my personal opinion of it.

Sweet I have been wanting to make some more classical music recently, and I have a couple of piano tunes Ive been too lazy to record lying around. Unfortunately, I will have to break out Edirol Orchestral; so be prepared for some serious aural carnage!

Question:

Could we upload two seperate tracks, say one is the 1:10 length one. But then that is the loop, so they can loop it for however long they like in the game, then a 5 second track to end the loop with a different sound.

If you get what I mean.

You can upload it but please only submit the link for the main loop.

There will be a lot of links to deal with and loops to listen to and it will only make what is going to be a tough job even harder. Compiling lists - Fixing errors on the lists - making sure that everyone who should be represented, is - then judging... Lots to do.
