And i think CastleCrashers-y songs should be more like Halo songs, classical/electronic/new wave-y with some rock noise

It got out since the two versions virtually are sounding the same, I now saw that you submited them at the same time, but when listening at them I thougt they were the same song, just remixed (#2 is longer).

This is the reason one is out, and it will most likley stay that way, unless you can come up with some very good reason two songs that more or less sound the same should be in.

this is for the actual MAC, what The Behemoth says is totally different. I saw Dan Paladin gave thumbs up for the songs ;)

I checked the first post of the thread and I didn't see anything about making a different song based upon variations of a single theme. I don't think there was any way for me to anticipate anything like this. As far as I can tell, I'm pretty sure I didn't break any of the rules.
I really spent a LOT of time on both submissions, its almost ridiculous. I understand that I still have a shot at having my songs in the game, but is there anyway you could allow both of my pieces on the MAC? I would almost feel as though I worked on those pieces for nothing if it isn't accepted in this contest.

After listening to the two, I have come to the conclusion that the two despite being similar in theme, are not similar in regards to much else. The level of energy, the accompanying instruments, all differ. If it means anything Rucklo, I personally think the two should be allowed in.

Though Winter, I would not take that chance for future submissions if you're planning on it. I agreed with the decision to boot one until just now, and even now there's still a small shred of doubt.

Yeah I kinda was like : O when I saw that and then felt my submissions weren't adequate.

I thought I was just gonna stop with the submissions that I've got, but I've got another I want to enter, but if I do any more for the contest I'll just post them all at the end (like I probably should have done from the start...)

But anyways, has the behemoth been listening in on us much yet/ what do they think thus far?

Also, what do you guys think of my submissions, do they have the castle crashers feel? I was aiming for a lord of the rings intensity in therms of epic-ness and an old skool sonic style video game feel.

Here is my entry, although I have absolutely NO chance of winning compared to everyone else's, but I figure what the hell, I'll give it a shot! :)

For this piece I had in mind a big boss battle, a VERY big boss battle. I figured I'd go a little cartoony, too, to match the wonderful art style.
