Has anyone encountered this and hence know how to fix it?
When I open a .wav file with WM Player or sound recorder, its fine, but when I import it into flash to use it, it's pitch is doubled.
Hamster voices abound, and this is not a good state of affairs. Its hard to take a commissar seriously when he sounds like hes on helium!
(I used audacity as the recording program.)

Well, the obvious way would to be to simply convert it into an MP3 file. I use D.S. MP3 converter (I actually use the 1st version, but I can't find it) It's a basic, but great, MP3, WAV, WMA etc. converter.

I used the LAME encoder on audacity to convert it to mp3. this didnt help as flash now just encounters an error when importing the file.
Thats why i was wondering if it was maybe audacity at fault...
