Who approves an appointment with the supreme court?

Who has the power to appoint cabinet officers?

I tryed lookin on google and yahoo but nothing.

I just put in President since he didn't ask who approves the nominations of the cabnit, he just wanted to know who appoints them.

I would also remind you that these are government questions and NOT history questions...
