i drink every other week basically with my mates, dont always get drunk but its always banter when i do cause i don't get hangovers at all. infact im going out for a bev' in a few hours, should be fun.

Maybe becasue beer tastes like shit.

I've only got really drunk twice. I'll drink alcohol sometimes, but barely ever.

that maybe your view on casual,social and fun but in my view drinking a substance when ones body is deveoloping at such an early age is rather stupid, seeing a pubesent teen getting drunk is like going to watch 2 fat greyhounds race. Not fun and gets very dull to watch, better yet having ones body starting to get hooked at that age onto it makes it harder to go cold turkey later on.

Ive seen enough of people and teens get drunk in my 17 years of life time as it is, come to britain and watch the streets on a saturday night. full of people drinking their lifes away as its fun.....to be sick, to harm your body and probably end up in a fight atleast once or do something you may regret.

But that's my view, drink is pointless when it does damage.

2 Regular coffee mugs full of vodka clean is enough for me. The right beer is the best thing and the right cocktails are the best thing.

I got completly smashed at my mums wedding on spirits when I was 8 years old. It was funny at the time.

I'm 18 and I don't drink and I really never have. I don't think I've had a single beer or shot or anything. It just never appealed to me very much.

I prefer not to get drunk and do something stupid. I also want to remember my good time. The kids at my school who drink always say, "This weekend was so great. I don't even remember it." That does not sound like fun to me. I have great times all the time without drinking.

I enjoy a drink with friends most weekends at our evening congregations..

Alchohol is an aquired taste.

They don't know how to get it

They obey the law.

Also I've never woken up with a horrid headache after drinking a shitload of MD.

Considering my dad's Italian, he taught me and my brothers early on that alcohol isn't this big deal. He let us have small sips of whatever, and that was that. And then there was church, where even the little kids got to have watered-down wine with communion (a thing that I got to do later on. :D)

Never really appealed to me to go to some house party of a schoolmate's and get plastered. Especially all the things that happen when one is an intoxicated, hormone-driven girl around intoxicated, hormone-driven guys. I've heard stories.

However, lately, since my birthday is later this month, and I'm finally legal to buy alcohol, it's seemingly not this big of a deal.

Might be a whole big "OMGICANGETDRUNKANDNOONECANSTOPME" kind of thing that happened when I went to visit Fyndir. Not that I regret it or anything, it was a blast. :D

Because if your balls havent dropped and you dont need to shave everyday I feel you surely dont need to drink. Kids are stupid and it would save us all alot of trouble if the little "young adults" just completely stopped. You dont need liquor to have a good time.

When I was 14 I didn't drink, just because I didn't want to.
Now I drink occasionally (on a concert or on parties, etc.)

same here when Im at a friends house I dont drink to get drunk. I use it as a social drink just to have it in my hands Yeah theres the occasional drinking game but those are unavoidable. =P

I held out for ages after my last drink. I thought I was going to be alright, but it just got worse.

I went to bed but I was too stoked to sleep. Then I sicked up. I remember hysterically shouting, 'IT'S BLOOOD!'

Alcohol tastes like crap to me. My mom didn't demonize it when I was a kid, and used to let me take sips of her beers and such, and I just plain didn't like the taste. I think my friends all pretend to like it because it makes them feel like adults or something :/

Drinking doesn't make you cool. It makes you look like an alcoholic.
