I find 2H to be rather light. I prefer 4B, even for sketching.

And as for the hardness of the pencil, my touch is rather hard, so I needed a harder pencil to compensate. I make 2B look like charcoal. Upon furthur use of the 2H, I think I need to find something in between, maybe H or HB.

Yeah it kinda happens to me too, and my teacher gets kinda mad somtimes, but I like my drawings really dark, I just hate seeing a light sketch, I feel like it has no life.

No life? never thought about it that way. I have done pencil drawings before. i had to re-outline them with a charcoal pencil to make them stand out=P

Why must teachers get angry at people who sketch?
I make my sketches sharplined with a regular .7mm mecha-pencil. But then the scanner always makes it too bright so it looks really scribbly.

And if it's not too much to ask, can you make a cuddly puppy with a fedora hat? I <3 puppies.
