Seeing as the united states war policy only works as well as the support for the war at home allows, I think the United States might be able to defeat canada, but not is people.

Think of it like this... If the United States could lose to Vietnam, a small place of peasents than what chance does america have against a countrie bigger than the US is and that moast americans love.
