To everyone who has stated that the terms Anime and Manga are exclusive to Japanese products, you all fucking fail.

Anime is an abbrievation of the word "Animation", which the Japanese use in place of the word "Cartoon" because its written form is much less cluttered:

Anime = A Ni Me
Cartoon = Ka-To uu N

As for the word 'manga', it is NOT Japanese exclusive either. It is derived from the chinese word "Man Wah" which means the same as any form of graphic novels regardless of origin (Whether material is shit or not is case-specific).

As for the word "Hentai", it is NOT the japanese word for pornography of any form nor does it necessarily mean 'perverse' or 'pervert'.

And H != Hentai.
