Agreed, that entry was really fun playing. Like 10 characters, lots of levels, unlockables. Great game, also cool that TheBeagle sent in a flash, he is a pretty good animator. Makes funny flashes.

I've been looking forward to Newgrounds Rumble for quite a while and I'm glad to see it's finally released. I'm also glad to see that it was worth the wait. Maybe there can be an extended version (or a sequel) of Newgrounds Rumble someday with online play. Too bad my connection is so crappy that it can't even handle Stick Arena very well. >_> Great work NegativeONE, MindChamber, and Luis for creating such a great flash game.

Weekly First, Newgrounds Rumble... The Flash itself definitely deserved its Daily and Weekly 1st Place, seeing how well-done and entertaining it is, but I can't help but think NegativeONE submitted such a game this week just to steal Super Mario Ball Z's Weekly User's Choice. SMBZ6 is one of the best Flash movies I have ever seen (not because of its use of video game characters and sprites), and if I were Alvin-Earthworm, I would be really ticked that a Newgrounds-related fighting game beat it out at the last minute to make his sure 1st+1st awards a 1st+2nd.

This is just a shot in the dark here, but maybe your precious sprite movie lost because all it is, is stolen art and anime audio slung together? Because it's mario and co reenacting Dragonballz? Because it's a sprite flash even you could make?

I don't even like Dragon Ball Z, and yet the SMBZ series amazes me.
I guess I could make it, but if I tried, I probably couldn't nail the storyline layout and the thrilling presentation of the movie like Alvin-Earthworm does.

Newgrounds rumble DEFINITELY deserved weekly 1st, it's amazing.
I personally think no matter how amazing a sprite movie is, it's a sprite movie.

Daily 2nd, wow. Thank you newgrounders who voted to get me there. :) Newgrounds Rumble is astonishing to say the least and its 2 years of production by its amazing flash authors certainly reflect how great it is. I hope people see what I submit in the future as well because I think it will be quality work that'll entertain you all!

I'd say, no matter how spritey an amazing movie is, it's still an amazing movie. I personally think that makes more sense, even if it doesn't sound right.

I love his flashes, to say we submitted NGR to steal someones points or thunder is an insult.

Newgrounds Ruble is addictive. I really wish it would be possible for NG games to be able to download onto my PSP, but alas, there is no way. :'(

Also, I just find it a shame at the Underdog and Review Crew pick. It's blatantly obvious that the authors just asked many friends to review 10, and most of them are from the KK. They complain about reputation, but with actions like this, they shouldn't wonder why people hate them. People are looking at the wrong awards being stolen and I would find it a shame if they get their own collection someday.

I'm not surprised SMBZ6 was the best movie of the week. There was just no competition from movies this week. The best sprite flash i've ever seen. heck ima go watch it again it ownz so much.

If that crappy Review Crew Pick hadn't been submitted, and if NG Rumble was submitted earlier in the week or something, SMBZ would have won for sure.

I'm going to state my honest opinion: SMBZ is, no question, one of the most epic Flash movies I have ever seen in my life. That's not because it has Mario and Sonic and whatnot. It was because of its PRESENTATION, which people ignore entirely just because of the graphics. Newgrounds Rumble, while it has plenty of Newgrounds references and some amazing ActionScripting, is just another jump-around-and-fight game. The only thing that stood out abut it is the Pico, Tankmen, Salad Fingers, etc cameos. SMBZ surpasses Tankmen in storyline, presentation, appropriate music selection and versatility entirely. NG Rumble wins on interactivity simply because it's a game, and supposedly it wins on graphics because it's not sprites. In the big look at things, I'd say SMBZ 6 was a lot better than NegativeONE's game.

But that's just me.

whatever I think its an awesome flash as well, but to say we post our game to steal from another flash is stupid and insulting to our hard work.
