yeah i just got it i browesed for some shit and all i could find was how to use the drum machine and the analog synth with the matrix controller... and i have a few questions

first for the samplers do you need a midi keyboard cause i dont have much money so i dont wanna spend it on a shitty midi

second what are some good FREE tutorials

thrid any tips are welcome

You can draw all the notes in the sequencer, but it's boring like hell.

... It seems as if you don't know how the sequencer works. It's the track tablet thing on the bottom of the window (defaultly) which gets a new track everytime you add an instrument. Select the track you want to edit, then edit mode (button at the top left of the sequencer). Then draw yer notes. Back to arrange mode (same button) you can move hole sections around easier.
It's all logical, you'll learn.


At least this signature is not obsolete.

ive created some cool beats on it and i dont know how to export it or record it... and basiclay what you just said i didnt understand cause its my fist music program... i usualy just play guitar or bass

I would highly suggest that you pick up a book or two - You might want to start with Reason 3 Ignite!.

It's an introductory book designed for people who have never used any of the above.

This will help teach you the basics - then from there we can get into some of the more advanced stuff...

Gotta learn to crawl first right?

Off the top of my head, I don't knowof any decent tutorials online but if I find any I'll post them for you.

I taught myself the basics of reason 3 in two weeks. Of course I'm still learning new tricks.

But the help file can come in handy. If your confused about what exactly something does, give it a read.
