How Long Do You Give Us?

With the present global situation, and many more hot, sandy countries left to invade until terrorism is wiped out, how long do you give human civilization until nuclear war wipes us from the face of the earth? The winner gets a blue Sharpie pen and a gram of good weed. Extra points if you guess right as to how civilization ends.

My guess: Seven years. George W. Bush's third term. War is being fought on all fronts, the United States has declared war on every other country in the world. Missiles have been launched, there is about half an hour until the U.S. is wiped from the map and as a final retalation Bush launches every missile in the entire U.S. arsenal.

As many of you know in 7 years (2010) USA and Russia will be getting rid of massive amounts of nuclear weapons. USA dropping down to 4,000 nukes and russia dropping to 1,000. China however will have 5,000, but the only threat they will be to is europe because china has not (and has no plan on) developed large amounts of Nuclear weapons. Now if the world survives through that than it is very likely Nuclear weapons will be eliminated. Anyone that honestly thinks that US will ever use a nuke first needs to do some reaserch first, thier most likely just spewing nonesense out of hate.

I think that's very probable actually, although I do want a few things clarified.

Who the hell ever said Bush WILL get reelected? Chances are that he will get trounced in the next election because someone with intelligence and tact will run against him. Of course, I didnt vote for him the first time, so what do I know? But if Bush goes, we blame the whole thing on him, and claim we've had a "regime change". Bada bing, we're done.

They only can, and there needs to be clarification from more than just bush to use the Nukes. And we have a strict no use unless threat of use is iminent policy.

He doesnt have a choice, they are already on the dissasembly line so to speak. This is be cause of his wanting to build the defense thingy against nukes. He has no power over it now.

Well, actually house. Mine isnt a theory, it's the plan that US and Russia have. Russia has no turning back whatsoever because they can no longer pay for the Nukes and the only thing that can get US to stop from getting rid of all those is a senate vote, presidents apporval, Every nuclear nations aproval, and then it would take a good 3 years to get them back to where thye can be to be fired. And china currently has 3000 nukes and is building 300 per year, but they dont have any plans to build any ICBMS. The only theory I have in that is that the whole world will eventually disarm after a while.

I think we have quite a few more years. Political powers will be the cause of our destruction but you never know exactly how things will end up until it is time but I do think Bush will have something to do with it if it all ends in a nuclear war.

Well the seed has been planted and the plant started growing. It might not be Bush who decides to throw a bomb, but the means to create such a possibility were craeted already.
You are right it is a matter of time, depending on how things turn out. Might be soon or it mught as well take some time for it to happen.
