I just started working on eyes. It's one of the training regiments on drawing i've made. It's a training regiment on everything i'm not great at drawing. heres the list

1: eyes

2: hands

3:...girls [blush]

Here, watch this. This might be useful for you, it helped me a lot when i wanted to make some decent anime. Matt's Anime Tutorial . Youll have to figure out the rest.

If you're going for anime styles there is one basic technique I see alot, it is easy and effective, aswell as making it simple to show off different emotions. Basically you start with a curve on the bottom and a curve with straight edges curving downwards on the top, then in between add an oval iris and a dot in the middle, work on adding lighting effects to the top corner of the iris and bottom corner of the pupil.

If I had to criticise the ones you drew I'd sayyou made them too squinty, not enough detail on the outer eye, don't use block colours, even line shading is easy and effective in MS paint if you don't have flash or photoshop.

I tried mspaint and I truly dont understand how people end up with such bad crap. I mean, I dont have a tablet but I can outdraw this noob anyday. Will post something in maybe 30 minutes to prove it.
