If anyone has ever used one or owns one can you tell me about them or write me review on how good or how sucky it is? Im thinking about getting one and im wondering if its worth the money.

I use the Line6 TonePort and it gave me some good results and they supposed to be similar so I'm guessing it would be worth it.

From what I know, DarksidE now uses the pod xt, and swears it is the SHIZZLE. ALso, to my knowledge, rocker206 uses a podxt live.

Thanks you guys have helped me make my decision. Im going to get one.

Hopefully that will cut it with all my crappy mic recordings and stuff. Any reccomendations on amp cabinets to hook the pod to or will it hook directly to my line6 spider 2 amp since its the same brand would i be able to do that?

Also, what are the model packs and do you have to buy them?

holy shit you get some good quality with that. Is there any certain prgram you have to run it on or can you run it through audacity what?

If you connect it to the line-in on your computer you shouldn't have any problem recording in Audacity. Provided your soundcard is set-up to record through the line-in.

I'd just like to point out that the podxt isn't a DI box, at least, not as much so as I thought it was. It's very good as a standalone effects unit.
