If you really are big on psychology, you would've been able to predict the outcome of such a project. Anybody would've. And therefore I think it's pretty stupid to go ahead with it. I don't particularly care that you stole someone's artwork, it just made me view you as less. But think about whoever you stole the art from? Did you get his permission? I think not.

yeah, but i also figured that it would take a longer periode of time and i was wrong...i also didnt know the exact reaction and so on...and im only 15 and just started studying not too long ago.

if you view me as less i dont rlly care much...the opinions of myself by other dont bother me...i just prefer critisisme on my art is all.

mistakes i made: 1. not doing more research or talking to a professionel first. 2. expecting people here to actually understand that im trying to do something to better my understanding of the human mind. 3. not controling the variables 4. not getting permission from the artists.

You don't know that, as you never talked about someone's mom. If you plan on doing psychology you're being highly unprofessional.

You cannot calculate human responses. You'd have to have a pre-constructed model and a predictable pattern of behaviour. This doesn't classify for either.

That isn't just limited to humans. If you're such a psychology buff then surely you've heard of Pavlov. If you give food to a dog and smack him when he eats it three times, he won't do it for a fourth time.

It's foolish to expect a community that's being invaded by countless of stealers a day to immediately realize that you're doing a psychology study for a better understanding of the human mind. You're right about the rest though.

The fact that you have the mental capacity to respond to emails doesn't prove anything, nor does the possession of a DeviantART account. Also, TOAS, good job on finding that thread. That clearly shows plain arrogance, totally irrelevant to 'the study'. I've seen it before, but didn't remember that she was a part of it.

You know, maybe you should just come clean, admit that you stole the art, and not for some imaginary study. Then maybe the NG community will slowly accept your art on the forums. This just isn't the way.

Picture uno. = Pretty good, maybe you should try more darker shading, to bring the features out more.

Picture B. = Also nice. But i think that you need to work on proportions, theres a difference between 'Fantasy art' and 'Cartoon art'.

Picture Three. = Yet again, very good. But then again would a 12 year old be that Hardcore? Looks like it could make a very reconisable character for a possable series. Tell me, are you any good at flash animation?

yeah she's a charecter(well the whole family actually) that im trying to develope for a video for a robotics competition my school enters every year(even getting a programe so i can tweak them into 3D) from there i hope to try and make a video game out of it but that's a long way away.
