Wow. This is too easy. A cannon is inaccurate as hell and is useless against a single person. Also, if he has light, stealthy clothing, wouldn't that make it easier to dodge the cannon? One more thing, a ninja can throw shuriken faster than a pirate can load a cannon.

REAL ninjas are cool. Ninjas in Naruto, however, are stupid and corny.

Im sure this has been said 50,000 times already in the past 7 pages, but I'll say it again so it's easier to find. People are annoyed with Naruto because it has no real things that make it stand out as a creative and interesting series, yet every other person you talk to is obsessed with it, and constantly trying to force it on everyone else.

Its because most people who hate Naruto are like sheep who follow the heard because its the newest thing to make fun of by bad-mouthing it after watching only one episode.

A school of kids not any older than 16 all form teams and train to become ninjas... yet they do not carry any traits of ninjas, the hand thing is retarded, the fact that an 11 year old has the skills of many adult ninjas is gay (like when gotanks hit fuckign super saiyan from breaking rocks with his brother... Ummmm, actualy just about anythin involving "elit" youths ends up being lame cause they are so childish yet they go throguh adult situatios with child liek knowlage.

I love ninja's! Mainly because I am one myself but I don't like Naruto in the slightest bit. It's not becuase the show is popular and I want to seem like I'm different. Not because X-play told me the show sucks. It's because when i turn on my tv I look at that show and think "I do not find this show entertaining; I would rather watch something else." TH=hat's the reason I don't like it, plain and simple.

Lets look at some details about ninjas and Naruto.

Ninja Gaiden is a good example. Look at Ryu Hasabusa's outfit. He has a sword, weapons, and throwing stars.

Wow, it's pretty funny how what you said is based solely on conjecture. I watch and enjoy Naruto and I'm anything but a Nerd. In my job, I'm a fence builder/contractor - something a "Nerd" or at least a "Nerd" of your description couldn't do. When you're carrying 90 lbs cement bags every other day and pulling cement footings from the ground and using high powered heavy machinery on jobs... you're not a "Nerd" ... So, Airbuster, there is flaw in your Naruto-fan logic.

And on a foot note - why do you even care how others lead their lives - shouldn't you be more concerned with your own life rather than others? Seriously, be more open minded. It's much more mature than cutting down someone or something just because they or it doesn't agree with you.

Maybe people don't like Naruto becuase of too much tallking instead of fighting. You have to get used to all of that talking. The talking could take a whole entire episode up.

Naruto doesn't actually kill people, in the Japanese and American versions he wears the most Un-stealthiest suit in the world (it is fucking orange) and he likes to scream out his moves before he actually even preforms them.

Example:

Let us say I am a WWE wrestler and I get picked to fight a real MMA, I enter the ring wearing a pink jumpsuit, and then to make things worse I scream things like:
