Not everyone hates it i love Naruto and ninjas. Yet the depiction of ninja in Naruto is different from what they truly were. Masashi Kishimoto grew up in a town with a military base in it, thus the 3-man squads. just thought i'd let you know. So the shinobi in Naruto are more like real life military forces.

It's overrated and it stereotypes that ninja's have 'magic'. Forgod sake, in the few episodes I saw, the kid made a log look like him, hid a shuriken in the shadow of another shuriken. One kid was breathing fire. That is not actual ninja skills, they are bound by the laws of physics and reality. Ninja's cannot transform, they can't make dozens of clones of them selves, and they sure as hell can't do pretty much ANYTHING on that show.

Anyway Naruto is good in japanese its just CN made it too kid friendly. They made it look like pokemon or DBZ when it is better than that.

Plus there is a deep story to it which is much more prominent in shippuden. There is alot of character developement unlike DBZ where the characters simply age. In fact the only character to truly have evolved over time was Vegeta.

Anyone who hates Naruto watch the Shippuden series. Or the japanese episodes and then tell me what you think about it. If you still don't like it fine but don't judge it based on a crappy english dub.
