Yeah, I should. Anime is the only drawing thing I don't suck at..and even that isn't all great. This isn't a talent I was "born" with, lol. Oh and was I correct in saying this is a "thread"? I hear that alot on 4chan.

i think your art is pretty good considering that you can look at a image and make a copy of it i did one awile ago and people said it was ok but i dont think i can do any better than that v cuz it took me like 1 hour to get it close to right

Being passionate about anime is fine and drawing anime is fine, but as an artist - you need to take it upon yourself to study the human form. Dont rely purely on manga and anime to further your artistic skill.

The best thing you can probably do for yourself now, is get a small sketchbook you can carry around and draw from life or anatomy books. And dont draw just any old crap. Do what you want to do.

Line paper and photographs of drawings are also a negative. If you want to share art, I suggest you start drawing on printer paper at least. Get a cheap scanner if you have the money.

Retention Center =/ Kinda like detention. I had that instead of my history class cuz I was failing. It gets boring in there cuz you just sit..

Printer paper, yeah..I could do that, have a bunch of it in my printer which I don't use. But I haven't the sufficient funds for a scanner...plus I think most scanners use Windows 2000 and above, right? I have old Windows 98. T_T It sucks.

Lol I was failing, then they replaced that class with RC. I was there for the rest of the semester. I ended up having to retake US History during summer school. But now I'm getting ready to graduate ^_^ Next Wednesday.

Anyways, try not using anime as your work. I doubt your Japanese and i bet if you put you own style with it without using anything from anime you might get something good. Atleast we won't make fun of you.
