More Moderators Petition

Here's what happends when you're a moderator:

You're a member. You act mature. Wade Fulp and/or Tom Fulp like you. You're a good role-model, and act completely opposite of numbers, which is great in anycase, being numbers is a homosexual, and Newgrounds hates homosexuals.

Tom/Wade make you a moderator. You're ecstatic, and ban a few people and get some shit posted about you because you're a fuckhead that doesn't know how to follow the rules. Whiners.

5 months later, you get a life, don't give a fuck about Newgrounds anymore (they don't pay you, they don't let you suck their cock at the ModMeet (I'm guessing), what the fucks the payoff?!) and you never ever return to Newgrounds again. Forcing Tom and Wade to hire more moderators, in which the same thing eventually happens. All the while there's around 5-6 of the 60+ assigned moderators ever on adays.

So. More moderators. One who you KNOW won't be getting a life anytime soon.

Besides, not all the mods are absent. It may look like we only have one online when you're in General, but there's Mods around policing the other sections too.

I doubt more moderators would solve the problems on this forum. I say there should be tighter sign up restrictions. Also possibly a restriction on how many accounts one IP can make. This would keep the majority of alts down.

Like what exactly? I can't even think of a website that could set president for that. No other sites have "strict" sign-up restrictions other than age. We couldn't do an IQ test. If we upped the age we'd lose 60% of the new sign-ups. If we put a price on the accounts, we'd loose the vast majority.

I can't realy see what we could do in this area.

Bump the age to 15. That would get rid of the vast majority of problematic users. I would rather visit a forum with only a few intelligent regulars then one with a million idiots.

More moderators wouldn't solve the problem... a new moderator team without personal grudges against people might... I suggest maybe we swap out the mods every couple of months just to keep a fresh team of them on.
