Which one do you prefer? Linux here. It's free unlike those other privacy invaders.
And no free IS NOT the same as not costing anything.

Wait, is Linux and windows on the same computer? Because that kinda beats the purpose of Linux...

Shit, I'd still use Win98 if I could. Then I could actually customize the sidebars again.
XP is mediocre, and WindowBlinds was necessary to get around the sheer fugliness.
I doubt I will install or even bother to look into Vista for at least another year, maybe two.
I'd rather use something open-source like Linux but I don't have the time to muck around with that stuff anymore.
After seeing OSX and WinXP run superfast and flawlessly on a Mac at my old office, I would definately consider a Mac for my next laptop.

XP is intrinsically a crippled piece of shit. You've just been using it so long that you've gotten desensitized.
Go buy an OS worth the money, man.

Macs are better than XP.
You just have to get used to the operating system you get.

Linux doesn't have a big enough software base for me to consider any distro for doing web applications, graphics and music.
Windows has probably the largest software base but it's not very stable.
Mac OS X has a very good software base, not as high as Win but most of the apps I've seen for Mac are very decent. So Mac it is.
I'd only get Windows if I was a gamer.

I have both Vista and XP, and well...
Vista looks a lot cooler, but i cant save pictures i find on google.
COME ON. I CANT SAVE PICTURES I FIND ON GOOGLE.
Who came up with that idea?
XP has a lot of good add-ons/good programs, and the Vista is still new,
so for now, ill vote for XP.

XP for the long list of compatible games and applications. I don't wanna patch things with Vista.
I like making movies, music, and smoking weed. Call me crazy.

I preffer OSX as far as efficiency goes, and I'm yet to try Linux (which is probably the best out of all of them), but overall I'd say XP. I'm running Vista currently which isn't to bad considering all of the hostile feedback from early non-oem adapters. As long as you have a good set up, it runs like a dream. Once they iron out the bugs and get some Dx10 games out, I very well may fall in love with it, but for the time being I prefer XP.

I love this argument. How can you explain all the people developing on the mac?
