That would be fucking be sweet but the thing is that they would need to put more characters EX. Pit who is he gonna fight for his villain as every VG char needs (unless they put him in there.)

I really think they should put Koopas in there then you could change the color blue koopas red green and yellow? They should also put Luigis vacuum as an item so you can suck em up then shoot them wherever you want. King Dedede wouldnt also be a bad addition.

Three good updates so far this week:

Zelda: No surprise she is in the game, but her new design is HAWT! I was expecting Tuesday's update to be about Sheik if he/she was to be in the game, so perhaps they are doing away with that- Midna instead, or just Zelda with Midna a hidden character? That would make sense as the characters are based off Twilight Princess rather than Ocarina of Time.

OOT Music compilation: DAMN does that sound good! Most of my favourite Nintendo tracks are in that game, and to have them all rolled together is just awesome. So far I've loved all of the music shown off on the site, with some really epic orchestral pieces being put together around the classic Nintendo tracks.

The banana peel: I can just imagine the chaos that could be caused by one of them, after the pain they have caused in Mario Kart over the years. Sticking one in front of someone with a barrel or Bob-omb could add another tactical element to the game.

It's great that they are still just giving away small things- nothing that will ruin the game or it's secrets/surprises, but enough to want to play it more than ever, and keep that anticipation building!

If used properly, any item can and will be an effective weapon.

This is a good update. There are these items called Assist trophies that pop out a Nintendo character to help you damage the other fighters. There's Hammer Bros. Nintendogs, then there is Samurai Goo from the F-Zero series.

I just got the Wii yesterday =). I got it at Brandsmart USA. Maybe you guys without Wiis should check there on Sundays.

Yeah, I might try it but I think I will be mainly playing with the GC controller.

Great update! I guess it works just like poke balls, but with a whole range of Nintendo (and other?) characters. That gives the game a whole new potential for nostalgia and throwing characters we all know and love into the game without making a ridiculous number of playable characters.

Bowser is in the game. His design is the same but more detailed than in Melee. It makes you think how his Final Smash would be like. Maybe it has to do with that flying clown vehicle.

THANK GOD! they let you play with a gamecube controller. I would have been so mad if you had to play with the wii mote and its lack of buttons.

Assist Trophies now make the whole Nintendogs thing make more sense. They should have as much variety as the Pokéballs do. Can't wait to see what surprises will be awaiting in different Assist Trophies.

And now we know that Bowser is officially in the game, and looks a lot more detailed, and cooler. And it says that all the fighters will offer a new flavor this time around. And I hope that includes them making Bowser a lot more, well.....faster. Then he doesn't become an easy target, and get easily raped by the other characters, like he was in Melee.

It's actually that Bowser becomes the Giga Bowser from Melee. Just check the site at you'll see that it's more detailed as well. It's a decent update.

They really did a amazing job on Bowsers Special he really looks bigger and badder than before and is it me, or are all the characters growing a little mroe mature?
