sketches on paper are lot easier than electronic ones, forgive my ridicolous attempt to keep up with you but i hope to get feedback to upgrade.

I drew this some time during lunch and I was looking at a fitness magazine to find a person ,I wanted to try and see If I remembered any of the muscle structure lessons from one Of Andrew Loomis's books. Do you see anything off?

well, this was 15 minutes well spent I guess.
haven't been drawing that much lately, so needed to get back in the game, which this 15 minute sketch thing really helped getting started.
anyways, I decided for a girl in a big sweater, lol, and that's what I ended up with.

Proportions are really flawed. I think you're not using the books properly... It's like if you're trying to run before knowing to walk. Work in the figure construction and proportions first before trying to do these anatomical practices. Use "Fun with a pencil". Only that one book. For the moment being. I can't stress this point enough, so, one more time: CONSTRUCTION.

Man I thought you were never even going to leave a comment to this damn thing at all. I have read his books several times for who knows how many hours spent but I've never bothered to copy down any of the stuff down on paper. No matter how many times you refer to word construction or proportions I just have the hardest time trying to see or understand properly.

I really like the way you've set up the proportions here. really brings out the female shape.

oh Heres another sketch... I don't have a scanner so don't bother asking why the quality is bad. I used a phone camera lol, didn't seem to catch much detail, but it's a sketch so I don't care.

Also sorry I had to use an image filter so you could see the lines clearly!
