Oooh, very nice works guys, for some reason I really like the simplistic style of sketching. It shows your real talent without hiding it with an ungodly amount of color and detail.

I might post some in a sec, just for the heck of it. :-D

Btw, for people curious on how I draw I suggest picking up this Book

"How to draw HipHop" now while the title kinda cheezy and generic sounding,
This in not one of those "How to draw Manga" books you see cluttered around.

The actual artist in this book really does a great job explaining perspective and blocking out techniques in a clear fun way. and the techniques apply to all drawings not just hipHop..
it was also cool to see I wasnt the only person that starts out their humans as robots ^_^

I picked up this book because the style caught my eye.
Its not THE ultimate reference book, but its a great start, and for 20 bucks you really cant go wrong.

I think for what it is its a good book for starters. once you get that down, you can look for more advanced books or continue to teach yourself.

as for animation books I suggest preston blair and tony white books

Sounds like a weird book so sell art classes, but those are always way more fun to look at than the boring "anatomy for the artist" shit with charcoal sketches of fat naked ladies and 70's men with huge mustaches.

haha nah, Ive drawn my chicks like this for as long as I remember.
I picked up because it reminded me of my style, then found out it was actually informative :)

BTW, the book was first published in 06' heres something I did in 05'

Ok, heres a real quick one. It took aboot 13 minutes. No matter what I do, I have to color it, or it will look awful to me. Unless im doing a noir project.

thing is, this is an execise to work on form, you shouldnt worry about color because you should be paying attention to your form
