Well, forgive us "Yanks" if we don't know all of the words. It's not like we use them, and even British literature is edited and has certain words changed into more "American" words when copies are shipped to the United States. There are exceptions, though. Do you Brits really spell the maneuver like manoeuver? And instead of tire you say tyre?

Cookie I'd like to say crisp, but that's a potato chip.
Jelly Jam
Drapes Curtains? If yes we use that word too!
Apartment Living quarters? I don't know
Gas(as in what you put into a car) Petrol
Yarn Thread or something?
Tic-Tac-Toe Cricket (just kidding)
Popsicle ???
Ass Rump, fanny, and behind
French-fries Chips
Soda Coke? I dunno you use that for any type of soda.
Checkers(board game) I've heard of this before...
Band-Aid A band-aid is a company, so you're thinking of bandages.
Diaper Nappy (WTF?)
pacifier ??
elevator Lift box???
eraser ????
Trunk(as in car) ????
trash can rubbish bin
sidewalk ?????

Here are some extras!

Soccer Football
Fucking (adj) Bloody
Pervert Wanker
American Yank (Is that insulting?)

But it's twice as hard for us because we're not familiar with the US words AND the British ones.
I pretty much did American to Australian.
