The flash portal seems to be a great source of games, and movies. But the BBS seems to be a little overdone, cause I never seen any BBS with that many rules. No offence. Still good.

I would have to say bye to the BBS, the portal is what made newgrounds, newgrounds. With the bbs, newgrounds would be any forum ground, with the exeption of a nice layout and nice colors. Tom you genius.

I'm glad this is a hypothetical question, because even though I would scrap the BBS in a second to save the Flash Portal, the BBS creates a warm and loving community of Newgrounders where people happily assist each other in their times of need. Did anybody notice the sarcasm there? Really though, the BBS is great. It's nice for killing time and for getting problems solved. Also, solving other peoples problems makes me feel smart.

You are aware that there's more to the Flash Portal than just "Blam and protect," right? The Flash is what makes Newgrounds what it is. The portal's also home to so many legendary pieces of art and hilarious animations.

The forum's great and does have its moments, but overall it's just text where the majority of the time people make posts about having sex with someone's mom.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to disagree with you.
The BBS seems to attract a lot of spammers, flamers, newbs who just want to annoy the living shit out of people, and mods on power trips.

Same here, but that's only because I've been so busy lately. It takes just a couple minutes to deposit, but I need to actually spend some time on the BBS to make some posts each day.

I love the BBS but I could spend my time elsewhere if I had to.
