The cpu keeps going at 100% when playing the song... plus I've followed the evolution of the reason song and I've honestly never had any idea about how to continue it :(

Alright, I didn't put the modulation back in, but I will soon >:)
I added some hideyuki styled hats on top of the second guy's stuff, and a vacuum bass effect, in the "bridge" so later reason guys can use it if they wanna
:D Looking good so far, I just want to add some stuff to LJ's section, spice it up a bit faster (I don't like slow progressions, especially for a contest like this, we gotta show our best, but over too long of a time)

padawan rocks.
I love the randomizer on it, allows for some interesting things.
It'll probably be a little over a week before I get to do anything because I won't be able to use the computer until then.

Alright, I uploaded my little add-on to LJ's part. It's Heroic_6. I couldn't add anything after LJ's part due to lack of ideas and stuff... so I just added onto his part :P
Have a whip at it, someone.

If there's no one working on the FL team's song at the moment, I'm gonna start trying to fix the transitions :D
If there's anyone working on the .flp, tell me.

:D - Wasn't my part though - Looks like you added some stuff between bars 125 and 140 which is the part that just barely leads into what I did... That's sort of the transition area between SineRider and I :)
If nobody is going to be modifying things than I'm planning on downloading the latest at about 2pm EST to make a few more changes.
If anyone wants to do anything with it before then, wouldja plz PM me? Thanks

I probably won't be able to anymore work. I can barely open the RNS, so I could imagine trying to work on it would be a major pain in the ass

Well, so far I haven't had any problems and I'd be quite willing to export the final if other people are having difficulties with it. There are a LOT of things going on in there:
14:2 mixers - 5
6:2 line mixers - 7
Mastering Suite Combi - 1
Equalizers - 14
Stereo Imagers - 3
Compressors - 9
Maximizers - 3
RV7000s - 12
Screams -13
RV-7 - 6
DDL-1s - 11
CF-101s - 2
PH-90 - 1
UN-16s - 5
PEQ-2 - 1
Audio Spiders - 6
Matrix - 1
Subtractors - 8
Malstroms - 6
NN19s - 8
NN-XTs - 18
and six billion cables all running everywhere
... O_o ...
Looks like a total of 18 reverb units - very very cpu hungry...
We start a list of lessons learned - There is a ton of experience here concerning collaborative efforts for anyone who wants to take it - we could all definitely learn something from the above... Perhaps we should have set up a base RNS with a mixer for each person involved and set a few guidelines on how certain processor heavy units would be used - avoid line effects where possible, use as send effects when you can - re-use devices - crap like that...
All goes into a file for next time I suppose...
Again - if there are no takers within the next 2 hours or so I'll be downloading the latest and playing with it a little.

May as well play with your part or other parts now, so someone (*cough* Rucklo) can throw in some sexy 2 step or something.

Holy crap that's a lot of stuff. Is all that really necessary?
Team Garageband isn't doing to well right now. We haven't even started lol.

Seriously, Team reason get yur modules together >:(!!!
I mean, can't you guys apply a universal compressor? I know the equalizer's are important per sound. Same thing with reverb.
Sorry if I just said something super retarded. I have not used Reason in enough detail to understand how it's effects are applied properly.

I wish we could... I made a copy and tried removing ALL of the effects and processors - reverb, compression, delay - all of it... I really tried to figure out a way to re-route everything into just a few mixers and set up a few send effects to take the place of all of the above but it changes everything so much...
I couldn't quite get it right... Maybe someone else might have better luck trying something like that.
I did however make a few small changes to what was there - tweaked a few things here and there - took Zenon's latest stuff and moved it all around a little - now it sits towards the very end.
It's posted as "erectronik_heroic_7.rns" and ready for the next poor sap to play with...
I don't suppose anyone would be good enough to help figure out wtf is going on with my levels towards the end - there's a NN-XT with some drums and a reese - I just cannot seem to get enough beef behind those drums coming out of "LJC NN-XT" though...

Are you implying that some of our sections don't have memorable choruses or blockrocking verses and are thus not real parts of a real song?
* turns nose in air and feigns offense *
;D
Rucko can fix it!
