Ack, I just realized 1 thing...I was planning to make my bit with MC rhymes...And IMO that'd be much better to have either in the intro (taken) or the end (taken)? What should i do?:P

Well, whoever is going last can go last per se, and you just get it to add the vocals but not add anything else... I'm sure that would be fine with whoever is going last.

I guess i'll go next for Team FL... Starting Saturday... unless someone else wants to go before then... Then I'll go after them. (I'm gone all tomorrow you see)

Good question - I don't think we have much of one at the moment.

Not even certain that we know what kind of tune we'll be trying to work on. I cerainly have no idea...

For now, I'd suggest that the Reason-heads start sketching out ideas - a bassline or two - a few bars of this or that, a chord proression or a melody, etc... Save it and upload all of it for everyone else to check out - I'd like to think that if we did something like that then the better stuff will rise toward the top - maybe...

Think of it as a sort of unorganized brainstorming session.

Let's each try to get a couple of rns files posted over the next few days k? If you spot any files up there then grab 'em and see if they inspire you at all - If they do, then add to it, save it and upload it - even if it's only half an idea - it's better than nothing.

My dear producers, I'm afraid I won't be able to work for this, anymore. I lost my dad 2 days ago, which was shocking news, and I won't be able to recover completely soon enough. I have to think through what just happened for a while, and let's see how this collab progresses while I am gone.

On other news, I was just messing around with OCON's version, and made my own last night XD. I don't expect mine to be used, but OCON that 3x OSC you put in gave me so many ideas despite it being only 3 notes.

And as for the collab, reading through the FL Team's comments, I'm getting really excited to hear what they have ^^ But I'll restrain myself from taking any sneak peaks and wait till the finished project :D

Reason Team looks as though they need to pick up the pace, cause it doesn't seem like they even have a clue of what they are going to do and this can only foreshadow two things: it'll either be fucking awesome once they get some concrete ideas together or it'll be a no-show.

As a judge, I would award more points to the team that actually collaborates and produces a song AS A TEAM. It's not exactly team work if you cycle through your team roster and give every artist his own 16 bars. You are NOT making 5 songs, you are making 1 song, so it better not sound like 5 different songs slapped together and super-glued with cheap transitions. It seems like LJ is taking the higher road by trying to get the whole Reason team to really work on the entire piece together, contributing bass lines and melodies along with other ideas. This of course is more work and requires more communication because it takes mutual agreement to finalize anything. But I'm very anxious to hear what the Reason team cooks up if they are able to pull this off :D

I'll mainly judge mixing quality, composition, diversity, cohesivenesses and emotion among some other smaller things, but I'll probably submit who I think the winner should be by which song I like better, bwahaha.

Anyway, who the hell are the other judges? Or am I the only one so far?

Oh and remember, your song can be crazy diverse and still sound like one song (i.e. Pink Panther by Dj Fresh), I'm just saying it shouldn't have to sound like a completely different person took over every 16 bars and those 16 bars are completely unrelated and don't really connect with anything that happened 32 bars ago.

I'd recommend it. Because we're gonna slip the end of mine onto the end of 0002Ocon2, and then I'm done adding parts, and when we finish the song, I've just got to create the instruments and such, and do a final clean-up.

Okay. Before anyone gets to Maestro's 3, I'm gonna combine the V3s so we have one V4 for people to work off of. So hold up a bit, shouldn't take very long.
