I think swearing is OK in writing if you're trying to emphasize a point, but people who swear all the time without any real intent are street scum.

Personally, I have never said the F-word in public, to me it is the last resort insult. I will only use it on the net if I want to emphasize a point really badly. In real life, I haven't needed it yet and I like my words to have impact so I keep them as virgin as possible.

Swear words should be used as a tool and they can be very powerful; but if you say them all the time, they lose their impact because the words lose their value and it comes to a point where you are literally unable to express your true anger, because no matter how bad you swear, people will always see it as a joke because you always swear anyway.
On the other hand, if someone really pissed me off and I wanted to express myself, I could just go "F*** YOU!" and it will come as a HUGE shock, because people will know that I'm really angry and it will intimidate them.su

But yeah, people shouldn't swear casually, it debilitates your ability to express the magnitude of your frustration/anger... Every time you swear for no reason relts in your words losing their value.

Any way, swearing is just a way of speaking that people use to express themselves violently, or aggressively. Or to make themselves seem important. It's just an occurring habit in our world growing more and more popular.
