stop fucking complaining about whether the submissons were what you would call good or not. because even if they're utter shite, it's not for one person, even wade, to decide on this site, it's for the votes to decide. alot of those flash werent given a chance and alot were deleted with a high enough score to pass.

whether it was good or not has nothing to do with it, not because it's entirely subjective but also because it's completely hypocritical.

It seems that most people here don't actually think about why they have these opinions, why they hate our group, why they lick wades arse, before diving straight into insulting and assuming and arguing.

On the last Daily Day, the EXACT same thing happened though. All entries were total shit, and they made the portal overflow well past the 50 limit.

Let us examine what Tom/Wade Fulp did back then. They made a collection to commemorate the day, frontpaged one of the shitty submissions, and publicized the Daily Day with a frontpage posting.

Yet, this is no different at all. Oh wait, there is one difference. A few of the duck submissions were actually entertaining.

Anyways--I think the reason for the overreaction is because about an hour right before the duck submissions, there was a bonusstage portal bomb that flooded the portal. The admins possibly were still in a deleting mood perhaps.....

Hopefully, they figure out that this wasn't a true portal flood and let the Duck Day happen again.

It defeats the purpose of the Portal, which is to have a Flash website where the users decide what gets showcased. It's not supposed to be about the man in control's opinion. It's about letting the people speak for themselves on what's quality and what's not. Also, the Under Judgement flash are automatically bumped to the most recent submission bit, so every Flash will at least get enough exposure as it takes to go through judgement.

Clockday was originally made to flood the portal, quality wasn't a big deal. We just happen to have quality nowadays.

The star syndicate has proven many many times that they can make substantial flashes when they want to. What happened today though was just shit.

If I was making a big flash movie, I would not release it on clock day, because that is a day reserved for all-clock movies. Like I said- if I submitted a quality entry today and all the sudden it was flushed out by 50 LOLOMGDUCK.FLa324's, that would be pretty lame wouldn't it?

I wasn't on Newgrounds for the first daily day, so I have no idea to what extent the portal was flooded.
