I can't believe there are people trying to justify it, and for what it's worth Wade is absolutely right on this one. You can't expect to get away with flooding the portal with crap (barring 1 or 2 submissions), and it is both unfair on other artists who submit to the portal, and those few of you who actually submitted something decent. Not to mention those of us who have dedicated a huge amount of time over the years to voting on submissions, just to see all that crap in there when we refresh the portal.

But you did achieve one thing- we have broken the most users online in the forums record, most likely through people checking out these threads, and the VA tech one at the top.

I like how most of the wade supporters don't have any idea how to spell.

And by the way, I originally organized this, you can see the thread on clockcrew.cc with me as the first poster. You can flame me for this incident if you want.

Nobody knew about this duck day and the submissions were so close together. We need notice, and you have to spread out those flashes more.

Why are you morons so hell-bent on justifing this act? It was spam! Clock Day has submission that consist of a shitload more than a Duck dancing in various themes to a crappy over-used techno song.

Which I believe..all the Duck.fla flashes was. There was just a duck dancing, which was a horrible effort at flash. You made that for the simple point to raid. As admitted a moment ago by one of the "organizers". Stop right now...because you're just making yourselves bigger idiots.

I dont see much difference. The clocks plan a day on which they submit lots of similar entries to the portal for the purpose of entertaining those willing to be entertained.

Clock Day is a planned Event. Duck day is not. Entries were being submitted at an incredible rate, with no visible end.

A MAJORITY of clock day entries are good. And that's after an entire day of submissions. On duck day, with well over 50+ entries in minutes, only 1-2 were "good"

On clock day, people know that if they submit a non-clock movie, that they have clocks to contend with. People who submitted today had no idea that their good work was about to be replaced with 2 meg flash movies that feature a spinning duck and random music.

Again, I stated that if the KK did this same stunt, they would get the same result. I could find well more than 1,000 spam flashes from the clock crew in the portal
