If there were quality entries only those should have been submitted. This was an organized raid on Newgrounds to flood the Portal with a high number of entries. Common sense would say it's not a good idea and it isn't fair to the other Flash artists who had their entries plowed off the 50 most recent list!

Stop trying to talk your way out of it. It was wrong and if it continues we will start terminating accounts. I am not the only one involved in this. I am getting a shit storm of IM's from other NG staff and other NG mods, users, etc, calling on us to put a stop to this. Stop singling me out, there are many people who feel you are in the wrong and many people who think accounts should be terminated.

First of all I'm just asking questions. I honestly don't see how it's a raid. I can speak on my own behalf saying when I submitted my movie I did not intend it as an attack, a raid, or some sort of damaging thing. This was really just for laughs.

I'm not trying to talk my way out of it, and I'm not interested in getting anyone's accounts deleted. I'm not trying to put anyone on a podium either, I'm simply asking you because you are an authority on newgrounds. Either way the clock crew does not hate Newgrounds, or it's members and certainly doesn't wish any harm on the site. In fact all it really seems to be is a joke gone awry.

Ok, I understand that our movies pushed other quality ones out of the way. But I'm sure the system could have taken care of this ordeal. Eventually, many of these would be blammed anyways.

As said already, the majority were quite funny it was only a scarce handful that were more spam than humor. You should have watched some of them before deleting them all, you would have laughed.

The only thing that was a bit unfair was removing Dwarfinators Duck flash and removing his award. He was not apart of the Duck raid and even opposed it when it first started.

I wouldn't think so. If one "valid" flash was viewed during judgment, then wouldn't it be noticed from all the spam, and therefore voted "up?"

And besides, lots of high ranking flash have already "sunk" without being noticed or commended without actually being searched for.

Dwarfinator Clock, who made the original duck.fla, is from the original generation of clocks.

Sure, eventually. However, during this prolonged period of voting the legit artists would be lossing exposure for their work. This raid was totally unfair to other artists. Stop trying to defend it or you won't have an account to defend it with.

I managed to go over all the duck.fla. However I was there at the start :) I remember a crappy Madness vid, xombie #9 however it fucked off somewhere and few others.

I see, is there any chance Dwarfinator could get his award back than? I know it doesn't usually work out but Dwarfinators a pretty swell guy who didn't exactly plan this either.
