Not only has your ill-considered little prank affected the business of Newgrounds, it affected the submissions of real artists and game producers who rely on Newgrounds to get their product out there. It's more than possible to consider a flash artist/developer could use Newgrounds submissions/ratings to promote their work to potential employers as it is a well known flash submission site.

You're a bunch of selfish children who cannot even think about anything beyond their own noses. Grow up.

And the flash that were there before are right where they were when we started the flood. Truth of the matter is that not every NG submission is some precious gem. Most NG flash are, in fact, mediocre. Their main source of viewership is family members and people who found their flash after trying to vote on the same flash twice a day. The main source of publicity for Newgrounds is the artists who stick with it for years and promote the site. These artists don't tend to go unnoticed.

Thanks. It just pissed me off to see all that crap submitted to the portal all at once. There are a great number of solid artists and game developers out there who submit to this site just to be seen. Look at the traffic Newgrounds drives to other sites, like ArmorGames. It affects the livelihood of others when these children feel they need to play a prank like that. I really do hope that you delete some, if not all, of the accounts associated with this attack.

Quick question, of all the cartoons on Newgrounds that are no longer in judgement, how many do you actually watch that are not in the top 50 or aren't highlighted in gold? Because I doubt you watch all of them. As someone else said, most flashes are watched by family and friends.
Take my brother's cartoon. It's a quality submission, but it has a low score and nobody watched it. It didn't take any duck.fla to do that.

I'd suggest pulling your head out of your ass, but, at 15 years of age, it's firmly planted in there. You idiots proved beyond any shadow of a doubt that not every submission is a gem. Hell, you tend to do that on a regular basis. However, for legitimate flash authors, this is/can be an important avenue to promote their work. But then, you're probably not a legitimate flash author, so this concept obviously escapes your limited comprehension.

The only reason the flash that existed before your little prank are still visible is due to the fact that your crap was deleted. Otherwise it's quite probable that those submissions would have been lost in the ether.

You've messed with a business's ability to do what it purports to do, you show no remorse, you cannot even comprehend that what you've done is wrong. It appears that it's too much work to even take a step back and consider that you may have pushed things too far. You don't deserve the privilege of submitting content to this site. Contributor, no. Potential employer/contractor, yes. I run two businesses and am well connected in my community to people who do contract artists and web developers to do work. I'm currently working with a group to launch a new business that will rely solely on an online presence for its revenue. While the website is still in development, there is a need for visuals and, guess what... I'm one of the guys looking to sign someone up to deal with the graphic end of things. And you wonder why spamming the portal pissed me off.

Granted, there wasn't much potential there at the time of the spamming, but to say that is completely missing the point. Trying to find someone with a unique artistic style to fit in with the project is a huge challenge. I'm constantly on the lookout for a solid visual artist to help us deal with the job. We've interviewed a number of people already, looked at a large number of portfolios and have gone through dozens of applications. Maybe, just maybe, I can find a diamond in the rough through NG. However, you idiots make that a lot harder than it already is.

Cool it. This isn't Wade's fault or any of the NG staff. They didn't have a clue what was going on, and they acted on a joke that didn't come off as funny to Newgrounds.
