RIGHT!!! That's it. I've had it with the continual 'Bush is Crap/Great' topics that pop up. If you have anythig to say about Bush, good or bad, post it here.
That way we won't have a trillion topics saying the same thing.

Although its not bush himself i would like to use the term guilty by asssociation,by saying that in wallstreet around 1941 a company called Brown Brothers was involved in a small scandal that revealed a couple of the company assets to be involved with nazi support and funding, with full consent and knowledge of the owners. The owners known as Herbert Walker and Prescott Bush.Grandfather and great grandfather of our president.
Well if butthead can rock with him....

Bush is...Bush. Make of that what you will, since there seem to be about 8002 contexts in that mere statement.

...no wonder no one takes Anti-Bush individuals seriously. We get people like this. Please, help me eliminate blind fools like this. I mean, I don't approve of many of Bush's policies, but I don't despise the man on a personal level. I've met him, shaken his hand. He's a fine guy, just not who I chose for President. Purely political - that's where the differences end.

At least we can rely on Jesse Helms; a man dumb enough to threaten the life of the President (Clinton in this case), by saying he'll rally the troops against him. What's the sentence for Treason in the US, again?
It's in Downsize This, for further reading.

I was against Bush's decision to go to war with Iraq. Too much is pointing towards it being about oil. Around last month, I gave Bush 18 months (until election day) to give me a reason to think better of him. Since then, he heavily pushed a tax cut, which went through at $350 billion (more than half of what Bush wanted). Conservatives view tax cuts as a way to help the economy so you know they see this as a very good thing. Opposers point out how his other tax cut failed, but I remember some (at least one) conservatives bash it because the tax cut wasn't big enough. Failed because it was too small a tax cut to make an impact. Now we got a much bigger one. I do wonder if those same conservatives think the $350 is still too small. I never researched that. Anywhoo, I'm taking a wait and see approach on that. Also, I saw Bush sign a $15B bill to help fight AIDS today. Not sure how well it'll help considering how long AIDS has been around and how much has already been put into it.
Fair to say I don't hate Bush as much as I did during the Iraq war, but he's nowhere near off the hook. Not when you have Rumsfield saying, "Well, Iraq may have destroyed their weapons before we invaded." (paraphrasing, BTW). I groan at their stupidity.

You know...I used to take care of an elderly woman during the election and all that. Her reason for not liking Bush:
"I don't trust the guy. His eyes are too close together."

Wasn't that the whole idea of sabre rattling in the first place? And, if the latest excuse is an indicator, the Iraqis complied by those terms, there was no rational, logical or moral reason to go trampling into the country to begin with? Oh, they were "liberating the citizens", yeah, right, start with your own population, then criticise...

Whoa, whoa, whoa, are you trying to say the AMERICAN people are OPPRESSED? One thing I think all Americans can agree on is that Bush is not against his own people. He might do things against our best interest, but only out of stupidity, not full out oppression. Hell, even people who hate Bush say the war in Iraq was to steal all the Iraqi oil to bring down oil prices. He might oppress other countries, but he certainly doesnt oppress us.

Oh, they were heard, but most americans really just didnt give a shit about what they had to say. Hell, I was all for the flexing of American military might, just to prove that we will not be fucked with. And let's not forget, you can argue that bush shouldnt have been elected, but congress was for the war too.

In the begining it was 25% pro war, 17% anti war and the rest were undecided. But it wouldnt matter anyways because we hadnt started the war yet. And you word is worht the exact same as anyone elses, there are only more people with a differing opinion. I dont see what government you would think would be better, one where the minority rules?

Well, if any of you survive a thousand years or so, drop a note next to my grave about when America finally collapses like the Roman Empire. It'll be a sight.
A few of Bush's accomplishments.
He has:
-Cut $39 million from federal spending on libraries
-Cut $35 million in funding for for adnaced pediatric training for doctors
-Delayed laws that would reduce "acceptable" levels of arsenic in drinking water
-Cut funding for research into cleaner and more efficient cars and trucks by 28%
-Revoked rules strengthening the power of the government to deny contracts to companies that violate federal laws, environmental laws and workplace safety standards
-Allowed Secretary of the Interioir Gale Norton to request suggestions for opening up national monuments for foresting, coal mining and oil and gas drilling
-Broken his campaign promise to invest $100 million per year in rain forest conservation
-Reduced by 86% the Community Access Program which coordinated care for less fortunate communities
-Nullified a proposal to increase public access to information about the potential ramifications of chemical plant accidents
-Cut funding for The Girls and Boys Club of America program in public housing by $60 million
...Is this convincing enough or should I add more?

Actually democracy is rule by consensus, not by majority. That is why more democratic systems have coalition governments.

Ok, which majority are you talking about? United States citizens? Yes maybe, after watching all the crappy propaganda on TV and believing it, of course they all praise Bush as the damn saviour of the world. Even here in Uk, all media was so biased, it was disgusting. But the truth is there are many political reasons behind this. I thoroughly discussed them with many of those who love the Dumbfuck Bush for many weeks earlier and to tell you the truth, I don't wanna talk about it anymore. He is not worth it, sorry.
