Satanists please

Am working on a project in religion, and I need an interview with a Satanist. Since there appear to be no satanists at all anyplace near where I live, what better place might there be to find one then on the internet, specificly newgrounds, where people from all the worlds different cultures and religions gather. Anyhow, here's a few questions I'd like any bypassing Satanists to answer, the more the merrier. If you don't feel like replying in this topic send me an email : [e-mail] . . . or a PM. Actually, satanist dotn believe in satan, but hes kind of like a figure head for rebellion and free will so tehy called it satanism.
Satanist believe that you should protect yoruself and those you care about above all others, and you are the one that should be on the top of your prioities.
They stress free will and the ability to do as you choose (with in legal confines).
Most satanist are pathifists as they believe violence is only risking htemslves.

I'm not Satanist, im atheist, but seriously if you Don't know the religion STFU Besides, Christianity was the only "real" religion with sacrifice, as in the early years they sacrificed animals to "god' to try and convince heathen religions it was "ok"

Hes right actually. Satanists don't believe in a literal incarnation of Satan. To them, they are their own Satan. Its like a moral guide to follow more then a God or object of worship. Pretty much atheism with Satan used as symbology.

So I've heard too. I've read about Satanists who do believe in Satan though, so I've been wondering which of them beliefs is real - or if there are different branches of Satanism or somthing . . .

As far as I am aware, Satanism has come to mean a philosophy, not a religion. This should be the incorrect use of the term, considering people have worshipped the "evil" deities in religion before. For example: Ancient Egyptians, some chose to worship Gods of chaos.

I've read up on Satanists and seem some on the gfaqs Christan board, some actually worship Satan, some just appreicate his rebellious efforts, and for others it just seems to be a fancy verison of atheism

Paganism is actually atheism really. A pagan originally meant someone with pre-Catholic views and came from the Latin term for country dweller because Catholocism caught on in the more populated areas faster.

Pentagrams have nothing to do with paganism.

Not necessarily. That was often put forward as a way to mock atheists.

Although some did believe and fairies and magic and such, from an outside perspective, it's no more stupid than believing in Jesus or Allah or anything else for that matter.

I'm not a Satanist, but I do follow SOME Satanist ideology. Don't think I'd be much help, though. I mostly just believe in the 'You're the master of your own destiny' rule.
